Rangeland Blvd Extension Project
A proposed 4–6 lane road threatens the peace, safety, and character of our Bexley community.
A four- to six-lane road with bike lanes, sidewalks, a multi-use path, and an overpass over the Suncoast Parkway (SR 589). It would run from the roundabout at Cattle Gap Drive all the way to the one at Bexley Village Drive and Bud Bexley Parkway.
More traffic. More noise. And some pretty big changes to the layout of our community—especially with a multi-lane road running through parts of our neighborhood.
The Board is working behind the scenes—meeting with county officials, collaborating with nearby communities, and making sure Bexley is part of the conversation early in the process. The goal: to protect what makes our neighborhood special.
Bexley has and continues to support
Alternative A
This is the least harmful option for our community and the position we continue to advocate for with county officials.
“This is what we're protecting — the wildlife, the water, the peace and quiet that make Bexley home.”
Our Change.org petition is still active. Add your name to support Option A for the Rangeland Blvd project.
Sign the Petition on Change.orgIn 2025, the community organized a separate paper petition that was hand-delivered to Pasco County Commissioners during the public comment window. That petition is now closed.
“The HOA submitted 316 signed petitions (many with multiple signatures) to the Pasco County Commissioners on behalf of the Bexley community during the public comment window. We appreciate every resident who participated in this effort—your engagement was seen, heard, and recorded.”
— Bexley HOAGreat question! Many of us wish "No Road" was still a realistic option. But based on long-standing county plans and developer agreements, removing the road entirely is extremely unlikely. Instead, we're advocating for the least harmful option—Option A—which avoids connecting to the Suncoast Parkway (a major traffic threat to Bexley). Supporting Option A keeps us in the conversation while still voicing our concerns and protecting our community.
